Who we are
Youth For Christ (YFC) was founded in 1944, with its roots in evangelical rallies held during World War II. YFC’s primary purpose is to reach young people with the message of Jesus Christ, focusing on evangelism and discipleship across the US, and in over 100 countries around the world.
The YFC Foundation (YFCF) began in the late 1980’s to support the sustainability and growth of God’s Kingdom mission through Youth For Christ. Today, the YFCF serves both YFC entities, and generous giving partners through a variety of services aimed at providing YFC chapter reserves investment, asset-gift processing, grant management, and legacy-giving solutions.

About the YFCF Board of Trustees
The Youth For Christ Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees, composed of nine voting members and three ex-officio. The board considers trustee candidates who are spiritually mature, bring a professional expertise that compliments the group, and who demonstrate a strong affiliation with a local Youth For Christ chapter.
Responsibilities:
The Trustees are generally responsible for overseeing the Foundation’s program and grant-making strategy; budgets, policies and guidelines; and investment strategies, allocations and performance. The trustees perform their duties through committees.
